With Gratitude to Bob Lamm!

As part of my #mindfulness practice, I’ve been keeping a gratitude journal – and I’ve decided to start showing my appreciation for my dear friends here. This appreciation is for Bob Lamm.

This is a challenging one because I have so much to say. And I worry that Bob will accuse me of turning this into an obit a wee bit prematurely.

Bob is kind. Bob is caring. Bob is entertaining. Bob is the best.

How is that? Bob is the grandfather we all wish we had. He is the “old head” in the room that still certainly belongs there. I can listen to Bob tell stories all day. He’s been in-house at six different companies. Some of them quite colorful tenures.

But I should be clear. Bob is a gentleman’s gentleman. He doesn’t breathe a bad word about anyone.

Bob’s support of my venture into ZippyPoint.com can’t be overstated. We taped quite a few videos over the last few months – and he would have been willing to tape many more. Don’t get me wrong. He doesn’t have idle time on his hands. He serves as the chair of Gunster’s corporate practice – and wears many other hats. And I’m not just saying all these kind things because the dude just sang my song…
