Is an executive receiving a gift from a customer a perk?
For purposes of the proxy statement filed with the SEC, is an executive receiving a gift from a customer a perk?
It is if you received it in your capacity as an executive.
This is one of those that feels weird because there’s no cost to the company. But it’s a perk – and you would disclose it in the list of an executive’s perks, assuming an executive’s total perks exceeded $10,000.
